We will be taking the kid's through the start to finish process of creating an impressionistic acrylic painting. Acrylic are a wonderful vibrant medium that dries fast, making it excellent for fun mark making & brushwork. We'll be helping the kids draw up their image on a 12x16" canvas then teaching them how to mix colours & create a great painting. There will be a variety of images to choose from & we will work one on one with the kid's to work through their masterpiece. 

This workshop will cover: 

• Using a limited palette for mixing 
• Application of paint
• Using different mediums with acrylic to create different textures (thin paint, thick paint)
• How to create depth in our paintings

For this workshop it is required for the kid's to be able to concentrate for 4 hours (with a half hour lunch break) so please keep that in mind when booking your child in.

BYO Lunch and water bottle - Morning tea will be provided.

Workshop participants will receive a 15% discount in store on the day of the workshop
