Suitable for all skill levels — from complete oil painting beginners to experienced painters — this hands-on workshop guides you through colour mixing, paint application, and brush painting techniques as you work on a small scene on canvas. By the end of the day, you'll leave with a finished oil painting to take home.

Caitlin Jeffs is an oil painter and teacher with over ten years of experience in both practice and instruction. She is known for her quiet, moody scenes painted in a modern colour palette — work that invites stillness and a closer look. See Caitlin's instagram here

• Learn how oil paints work & create a painting from start to finish 
• Learn to create a limited palette to create a mood and feeling in work
• Learn how to create compositional flow in an artwork
• Learn how lighting affects mood and colouring 
• Understand the importance of tonal relationships over colour

Terms & Conditions of Workshop Bookings: 

If you are unable to attend your workshop the following refund policy applies:

• More than 7 days notice: A full refund will be provided (less $20 booking fee)

• Between 7 and 4 days notice: A refund of 75% will be provided.

• Less than 4 days notice: A refund of 50% will be provided.

We are unable to offer credits for future workshops.

Our workshops require a minimum booking of 10 students - in the case of cancellation you will be given 3 days notice and a full refund.
