In this fun and creative two-day workshop, kids will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating their very own impressionistic acrylic artwork.

Acrylics are a vibrant, fast-drying medium that make it easy for young artists to experiment with colour, brushwork, and texture. Children will learn how to mix colours, use different brush techniques, and bring their ideas to life on canvas. With plenty of inspiration images to choose from, each child will create a unique artwork they’ll be proud to take home.

This workshop will cover:

• Using a limited colour palette for mixing
• Applying paint with confidence
• Exploring different textures using acrylic mediums (thin paint, thick paint)
• Composing and building an expressive painting

This workshop is designed for kids who are ready to focus and create for extended periods (up to 4 hours with a half-hour lunch break). Please keep in mind when booking your child in.

- If you are unable to attend this workshop you can apply for a refund if we are given 7+ days notice. Please contact hello@artschoolco.com if you are unable to attend.

- If you are unable to attend this workshop & give less than 7 days notice you can ask for a credit to be used at future workshops at the school to equal or lesser value. If of greater value the difference must be paid. If less than 48hrs notice is given a 50% fee will be taken off the credit. Please contact hello@artschoolco.com if you are unable to attend.

- Workshop credit cannot be used towards term classes or the store.
