Acrylic paint is a wonderful vibrant medium that dries fast making it excellent for fun mark making & brushwork. We will be taking the kids through the entire process of creating an impressionistic acrylic painting. We'll help the kids draw up their image on a 12"x16" canvas then teach them how to mix colours and create a great painting. There will be a variety of images to choose from and we will work one on one with the kids to work through their masterpiece. 

This workshop will cover: 

• Using a limited palette for colour mixing 
• Application of paint
• Using different mediums with acrylic to create different textures eg. thin paint vs thick paint
• Creating depth in paintings
• Drawing up on a Canvas
  

For this workshop it is required for the child to be able to concentrate for 4 hours (with a half hour lunch break) so please keep that in mind when booking your child in.

BYO Lunch and water bottle - Morning tea will be provided.

Terms & Conditions of Workshop Bookings: 

Our workshops require a minimum booking of 10 students - in the case of cancellation you will be given 3 days notice and a full refund. 

If you are unable to attend your workshop the following refund policy applies:

• More than 7 days notice: A full refund will be provided (less $20 booking fee)

• Between 7 and 4 days notice: A refund of 75% will be provided.

• Less than 4 days notice: A refund of 50% will be provided.

We are unable to offer credits for future workshops.
