This workshop brings together your personal colour experiences and theoretical knowledge to create a powerful tool for self-expression. You'll gain the ability to make deliberate artistic choices, and have greater understanding of how to use your paint colours.

You will also explore how to mix colours with intention—moving beyond "close enough is good enough" or "I accidentally mixed this and don’t know how to recreate it.” Caitlin believes that a lot of colour use is intuitive, but it becomes even more accessible when supported by theory and practical knowledge of what works.

You will have the option to use either watercolour or acrylic for your colour mixing exercises. Please choose the medium you're most familiar with or have available at home, as this is not a painting techniques class.

• Tools and methods to continue improving your colour mixing and observation skills after the workshop

• Understanding how temperature in colours affects your painting and how to use it to your advantage

• Opportunities to practise and apply your new colour knowledge during the session

Terms & Conditions of Workshop Bookings: 

If you are unable to attend your workshop the following refund policy applies:

• More than 7 days notice: A full refund will be provided (less $20 booking fee)

• Between 7 and 4 days notice: A refund of 75% will be provided.

• Less than 4 days notice: A refund of 50% will be provided.

We are unable to offer credits for future workshops.

Our workshops require a minimum booking of 10 students - in the case of cancellation you will be given 3 days notice and a full refund.
