Bethany is an artist based between the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and Victoria. Working across drawing and painting, her practice focuses on horses within the landscape and the movement, rhythm and presence of the herd.

Growing up in rural Australia and spending much of her time around horses continues to shape the way she sees and paints them. Her work is interested in the quiet feeling of being around these animals and the way their presence can shift the atmosphere of a place.
