Beginner Drawing Workshop Jan 2026

Tuesday 6th January

9:00am - 1.30pm

All supplies included.

Ages 13+

One of our core beliefs is that learning to truly see the world — and translate it onto paper — is a powerful and fun skill. We believe anyone can learn to draw with the right guidance. You don’t need drawing experience, or consider yourself “artistic,” to take part. Art is for everyone.

In this relaxed, supportive workshop, our experienced teachers will gently introduce you to the foundations of drawing and help you build confidence as you go. You’ll learn simple tools for understanding perspective and tone, train your eye to observe more closely, and discover practical techniques for bringing depth and life into your drawings.

You’ll also receive fun, easy prompts to keep practising at home so your creative journey can continue long after the workshop ends.

This session is perfect for adults and teens of any experience level — especially those picking up a pencil for the first time.
It’s also a great way to try out our teaching style before enrolling in a 10-week term class.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to use graphite drawing materials

  • How to accurately find and use perspective

  • Tone and value fundamentals

  • Different mark-making techniques

  • How to create realism in drawing
