Beginner Drawing & Mark Making Workshop (17th September)

Sunday 17th September 10am-3pm

All supplies included.

Ages 13+

One of our core beliefs is that the ability to observe the world & turn that into imagery is a wonderful skill to have. Everything that was man made was drawn first.

In the 5 hour workshop our teachers will take you through the foundations of drawing. We will give you tools for creating correct perspective & tone in you drawings. While learning these foundational skills, we love individuality in work & want to  help you experiment & find your unique mark that you make. We will work on strengthening our skills of observation & can help set you up with activities to continue drawing outside of the workshop. This class is suitable for adults or teens at any experience level.

It's also a great chance to have a taster of the classes before enrolling for a 10 week term.

What you will learn in this workshop:

  • How to use graphite drawing materials
  • How to quickly find perspective in drawing
  • Tone/Value ranges
  • Different kinds of mark making/use of drawing supplies
  • How to create realism in a drawing

Workshop participants will receive a 15% discount in store on the day of the workshop.
