One of our core beliefs is that the ability to observe the world & turn that into art is a powerful, wonderful skill to have. We also believe that everyone who wants to learn that skill can with the right guidance & teaching. Art is for everybody.

In the 5 hour workshop our teachers will take you through the foundations of drawing. We will give you tools for finding correct perspective & tone in your drawings. We will work on strengthening our skills of observation & can help set you up with activities to continue drawing outside of the workshop. This class is suitable for adults or teens at any experience level.

It's also a great chance to have a taster of the classes before enrolling for a 10 week term.

What you will learn in this workshop: 

• How to use graphite drawing materials
• How to correctly find perspective in drawing 
• Tone/Value ranges
• Different kinds of mark making/use of drawing supplies 
• How to create realism in a drawing 

Price of the workshop includes a drawing starter pack of the supplies we will include in the workshop (valued at RRP$23.50) which includes:

• Mono Eraser Pencil
• Mono Eraser
• Pack of 5 Faber Castell 9000 Graphite pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B) 
• Paper stump blending stick
