Spend a day with Lauren Horton focusing on the joy of painting Landscapes.
From her extensive travels, La has tapped into the beauty of capturing a vista and turning it into a stylish piece for home. Her art has a distinctive focus on colour and form that invites the viewer into the joy of leaning into what different mediums can do. La loves using acrylics to simplify landscapes to create beautiful meaningful pieces for a styled space. In this workshop she will break down her techniques and show you how to build a great composition from a photograph and finish a small piece in one sitting with a focus on colour mixing, acrylic painting techniques and creating texture.
Lauren brings over a decade of experience in teaching and creative leadership, she is passionate about helping people unlock their unique style and empowering them to build practical creativity in their everyday lives. See Lauren’s instagram here
You will leave with a 12" X 16" canvas painting framed in a beautiful box frame ready to hang.
(This workshop can be paired with La’s contemporary still life workshop if you want to spend two days painting and come away with two complementary acrylic artworks ready to hang)
